      April 12---caught good numbers of crappie outside weededge in Lakewood bay                                April 19---Crappie being caught in numbers in front of Smith Boys Marina                                                April 26--walleye starting to run up the creeks                                                                                    May 1---Opening of Walleye and Trohpy Smallie Season on Lake Erie                                                        May 2---walleye on Chautauqua being caught in front of WenaChua Cottages trolling the weededges...smallies on Lake Erie out of Dunkirk Harbour off VanBuren Point 20-28 feet 3" tube                                                                                                                                                  May 10---walleyes being cuaght trolling in evening upper Dewittville bay                                                                                                                                              
May 19---smallies and crappie being caught off Rock and Grass Island                                                
    May 24--smallies being caught in shallows in southern basin Ashville BayMay 28--perch and walleye in good numbers being caught off the weedline in front of Prendgast Launch
June 3--While spring gobbler season is over the fishing on Chautauqua is hot and heavy with walleyes being caught trolling the upped Dewittville Bay with #15 jointed Rapalas--black/silver and perch colors on the outside edge of the weeds 
June 6--Largemouth bass being caught in front of the Whitewall on the lower basin of Chaut. Lake with 3" smoked colored tubes 
June 7--Smallmouth bass being on caught on Lake Erie off the Dumping Ground out of Dunkirk Harbour in 22-30 ft
 June 19--opening day of the 2010 bass and muskie season--had three follows in front of WeWanCha Cottages to the Belle Tower casting stick baits -black/silver over weed beds-boated one 38" at Belle Tower
June 20th--picking up good numbers of legal bass off docks in Ashville and Warners Bays on 3" Tubes July 7th--walleyes being picked up on the weed edges at Belle Tower, Prendergast Point and WeWanChu
July 14---muskie trollers are picking-up fish trolling the deep holes in the northern basin of Chautauqua july 19---night time casters are caughting a few muskies in the shallows in front of Lilly Dale

Hunting 2010                

May 1--opening of spring Turkey Season --over 20,000 acres of public land in Chautauqua County         
May 5--The long beards in a field in Busti at 9:30 all alone                                                           
      Season ended with few birds gobblering but lots of jakes running around
